AIRPORT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER / Senior Network Engineer – Aviation & Transportation Department - $1,500 Sign On Bonus Available -

The Portland International Jetport is seeking qualified candidates for the Airport Information Technology Manager / Senior Network Engineer position. This position reports to the Deputy Director of Engineering and Facilities. The selected candidate is responsible for developing and maintaining functional and secure networks at the airport. This position will also teach IT staff to troubleshoot IT issues with Airport systems and liaise with service contractors to maintain normal operation of Airport IT systems (FIDS, BIDS, WiFi, CCTV, Access Control, etc.). This position also conducts routine formal network administration assessments to produce performance metrics and recommend changes to improve network or system performance. Responsible for trending/capacity planning and preventing or managing away downtimes. Previous airport experience is preferred, but not required. This position will serve as the Airports Cyber Security Coordinator to the Transportation Security Administration. Applicants must meet all TSA requirements for this position including being a US Citizen who is eligible to seek a security clearance at the secret level. Successful completion of TSA Criminal Background Check in accordance with TSR Part 1542 to acquire and maintain an airport security badge. Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check.

Non-Union position - Grade C44 - Salary range: $73,097 - $92,608/year.
