We currently have the opportunity for an Asphalt Plant Laborer to join our construction team in Kalispell, MT.

We are seeking a maintenance minded individual looking for a long-term career in the construction industry. This position will provide the selected candidate the opportunity to develop a unique skillset with continued career growth.

Key Functions

• Responsible for daily maintenance tasks to maintain our stationary asphalt plant
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks
• Assist plant operator and other skilled labor when necessary
• Maintain the general plant area by cleaning obstacles and hazards
• Load or unload construction materials
• Operate hand tools and power tools
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate PPE at all times
• Perform any other duties instructed by the supervisor

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of labor experience strongly preferred
• Experience in Construction is also preferred
• Mechanical aptitude

Physical Requirements

• Capable of lifting 50 to 75 lbs. regularly
• Move safely, quickly, and perform duties with repetitious movement
• Sit and/or stand for long periods of time
• Reach with hands and arms
• Bend at the waist, kneel, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Climb ladders/steps
• Continuous use of hand tools for extended periods of time
• Walk varying distances and on uneven ground at times
• Must be able to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, and vibrations

Compensation

• Hourly rate of pay $21 to $23 an hour based on experience
