Job Description

LifeWorx is a premier elder care company in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida seeking a full-time Business Development Assistant to support our business development, sales, and marketing teams as we expand services into Brooklyn and other areas. This position would work closely with our Director of Business Development, Director of Operations, and Client Relations Managers in order to cultivate relationships with leading elder care experts to establish a pipeline of prospects and clients. This is a hybrid role and can be based out of our Upper East Side location, as well as Sarasota, FL or Englewood, NJ.

The Business Development Assistant is responsible for:

  • Researching local Centers of Influence (COIs) including geriatric care managers, concierge doctors, high-end assisted living facilities, and other healthcare-related businesses and individuals for outreach
  • Working collaboratively to create customized outreach plans based on each category’s unique needs, priorities, and pain points
  • Managing outreach pipeline through cold-calling and following up with identified referral leads and coordinating meeting logistics for other members of the sales and business development team
  • Maintaining internal COI database and tracking follow-up frequency and subsequent referrals
  • Collating email and mail lists, assisting in mass communication to target market
  • Collaborating with our marketing team to generate new ideas for engagement

Skills, Abilities & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, business administration, marketing or related fields
  • Preferably 2+ years in admin or client/customer-facing roles
  • Must be a motivated self-starter and have a strong learning and growth mindset
  • Must have excellent data management skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: experience using Outlook, Excel, etc. or a similar platform is preferred
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively and efficiently, and exercise flexibility as needed
  • Must be energetic and personable, and have the ability to communicate and relate to a wide variety of audiences
  • Must have exceptional time management skills and be able to stay organized and execute tasks in a timely manner
  • Must be an adaptable and reliable team player
  • Must be able to think creatively and innovatively

Compensation & Benefits:

  • PTO – 3 weeks of paid vacation, 5 personal days, and 7 holidays

*** This position is planned as a full-time role, however we are open to considering strong part-time intern candidates who are able to join the team full-time upon graduation as well

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
