The Recruiting Coordinator is an integral role supporting the onboarding of transitioning Financial Advisors and their supporting team members into Raymond James, while contributing to the overall success of the Talent Acquisiton team by providing a high level of customer service, administrative support, and project coordination. The Coordinator supports the Private Client Group (PCG), with responsibility for timely and accurate daily production of Financial Advisor offer letters and HR support for transitioning teams into Raymond James. This role will require strong collaboration with various departments that are integrated in the PCG hiring process, as well as the ability to maintain consistency with hiring practices. Additionally, this role will have limited interview coordination for branch candidates, and pre-employment transaction processing for new hires. This position will require you to develop an understanding of the firms recruiting processes for candidate management, benefits, relocation, company policy administrations, and other related activities in support of Talent Acquisition.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and send out all Financial Advisor and support staff offer letters after receiving approval from supported business lines - Obtain approvals from PCG Administration prior to sending out offers
  • Partner with PCG Adminstration and branches to deliver a consistent staffing process to our clients, candidates and HR partners.
  • Own the full Onboarding process; including flawless execution with all education, employment, and Registration background checks in conjunction with outside vendors
  • Handle all processing only requisitions for strategic hires including hires that are considered part of the transition
  • Post all open positions on various sites including RJ Careersite, LinkedIn, state agencies and other job boards, as needed
  • Maintain and deliver Compliance background check packages for FINRA Registered associates/affiliates
  • Ownership of the full staffing process including being an expert in Raymond James ATS (Taleo) and all steps/statuses. This will include supporting all administrative recruiting functions including creating requisitions, sending correspondence, scheduling, tracking candidates, retrieving data
  • Innovate and drive improvements to the staffing process; create and embrace change
  • Maintain a consistent professional image that mirrors the Raymond James brand for Talent Acquisition
  • Assisting in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed
  • Performing work in compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunity and company policy per management direction.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years administrative support experience
  • BA or BS degree with 1+ year relevant working experience within HR preferred
