Job Description

This is a remote position with upto 10% travel for site visits anywhere in NJ.

Travel required to support department operations and field based staff

The Associate Manager reinforces the health services philosophy, programs, policies and procedures, ensuring implementation of tactics to meet strategic direction for cost and quality outcomes.

This role identifies opportunities to implement best practice approaches and introduce innovations to better improve outcomes.

The Associate Manager is accountable for meeting the objectives of the unit, while working closely with functional area staff and collaborating with the outlier teams to ensure consistency in interventions.

Accountable for the day-to-day management of teams for appropriate implementation and adherence with established practices, policies and procedures

Assess developmental needs and collaborate with others to evaluate and interpret data, identify areas of improvement and focus on interventions to improve outcomes and member engagement and outreach.

Provide prompt resolution regarding issues that may surface. Provide staff training and development.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 78,000
Maximum: 168,000

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Required Qualifications

-Active and unrestricted NJ state Licensure: RN or any Licensed Clinical Behavioral Health license. ( Ex- LCSW)

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical area of expertise.

  • Willing and able to travel up to 10% of their time anywhere within the state of NJ.

Preferred Qualifications
1+ year supervisory experience.

2 years of Managed Care Experience

Ability to provide leadership to staff and to build the trust and respect of internal and external key stakeholders. Able to motivate staff and promote team building.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving skills, including creativity, resourcefulness, timeliness and technical knowledge related to analyzing and resolving medical/administrative problems.

This job requires use and exercise of judgment.

Exceptional emotional coping skills, adequate to confront difficult emotional situations and emotional responses of others.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, plus a variety of other word-processing, spreadsheets, database, email and presentation software.

Competent in data analysis and uses this to support medical management strategy.

Knowledge of the regulations, standards, and policies which relate to medical management.

Education
For RN License, Associate Degree required and BSN preferred.
For Clinical BH License, Master's degree required.
