Position: ATA Carnet Assistant

As an ATA Carnet Assistant, you will support the Carnet Department in all Carnet needs. You will be responsible for printing, tracking, and monitoring all carnets along with inspecting documents for potential claims.

Essential Duties:

• Assisting Carnet desk with issuing and printing all ATA carnets.
• Creating manifests in carnet format using excel, and entering data into the Carnet system to issue, print and bill carnets as needed.
• Responsible for tracking and monitoring all carnets and inspecting documents for potential claims working directly with the United States Council for International Business.
• Responsible for returning carnets to Roanoke/United States Council for International Business for closing.
• Order Carnet Supplies for all offices.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong communication skills; written and verbal
• Strong organizational, along with attention to detail, and prioritization skills
• MS Office Suite, intermediate Excel skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle time-sensitive issues
• Flexibility with possible overtime

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent required, college degree/some college preferred
• Must pass a security background check
• Experience a plus
