This position is commission based and income opportunity range is $45,000 - $60,000 annually

Position Overview:
A Tire Sales Advisor initiates tire-related services and repairs by communicating with customers to determine the maintenance services requested. As a Tire Sales expert, you are responsible for providing superior customer service and assisting the store in achieving expected sales goals through the in-store execution of various tire programs. In addition, this role will partner with the Service Manager to provide tire expertise and direction to the service team. Whether answering and making phone calls and emails or assisting service customers to face to face, you'll be responsible for ensuring every customer has a positive lasting experience with Groove Auto.

Essential Functions:

  • Inspecting customers' vehicles on the service drive and diagnosing tire-related repairs or recommended replacement tire options
  • Quoting prices and selling tires to customers on the service drive while providing every customer with an estimate of repair/tire costs, including parts and labor, after a complete assessment is completed on the vehicle
  • Obtaining the customer's authorization for additional repairs that may be needed before the repairs are completed
  • Establish a realistic and specific time promise (including waiters) for each customer
  • Assuring assigned tire repairs /replacements are completed as ordered and priced as quoted
  • Maintaining solid and effective relationships with customers and dealership personnel
  • Overseeing customer satisfaction and solving problems that arise
  • Assisting dealership technicians to ensure service levels are maintained
  • An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional related job responsibilities as needed and assigned

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of tire service experience in a retail tire and service environment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
  • Authorized to work in the United States
