As a Bids Specialist, you will create and prepare bids and quotations in response to prospect and existing Magid customer requests. You will collaborate and coordinate with our sales team and subject matter experts to ensure bids are complete, accurate, and maximize business opportunities. In addition, you will maintain a repository of templates and product information to ensure a timely and quality experience for the sales team and customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Owens a proposal from start to finish (identify, source, price, identify Magid brand FE, create customer friendly return document)
  • Populates and programs Power Bi for Senior Bid Specialist and Director can use the data to establish strategic pricing
  • Understand Magid products and customer needs to develop quality and competitive
  • Provide back-up support to RFQ Specialist as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience selling or working with PPE (Safety Products).
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, with strong Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple activities and complex projects effectively and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to monitor and prioritize workload properly to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to work and assist in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, written, verbal and presentation.
  • Ability to work successfully and consistently without supervision.
