Accountable for Business Development valuations for Permian land and minerals A&D.

Create and maintain standardized workflows for routine evaluations of A&D land and mineral packages

Run economic evaluations for all land evaluation packages using approved subsurface development strategies, pricing framework, Capex and Opex models

Develop economic evaluation monitoring report that reconciles A&D deal progress and relative success rate

Act as primary POC for land and mineral valuations for SPFD (Strategic Planning Field Development) and Land groups

Monitor and report offset land and mineral competitor activity and development strategies

Assist Business Development group with transaction evaluation when time allows

Internal applicants should meet all eligibility requirements per employee handbook.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
-
Minimum of 3, preferably 3-5+ years, of experience in the oil and gas industry is required

Experience in reservoir engineering, business development, and/or economic evaluation is preferred
-
Experience with Economics software (ARIES, Mosaic, Combo Curve, or other commercial packages) is required
-
Proficiency in key land and commercial attributes that influence underlying value of an asset is required

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access) is required
-
Proficiency in business intelligence tools is required (Spotfire is preferred)

Proficiency in Data Engineering Software/Languages (Alteryx and SQL) is preferred
