We are looking for Certified Medical Assistant - Medical Receptionist with a minimum of 2 years experience to work at our Medical Practice.
Excellent customer service, strong work ethic, ability to multitask and willingness to work well with others.
Must be computer literate and comfortable with electronic medical records ( EMR).
Must have experience with patient intakes, inputting labs and specimen handling.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take patient histories, vital signs and record information in EMR
- Prepare patients for procedure
- Assist physician with examinations
- Prepare label and process collected specimens
- Maintain appropriate lab logs during sessions
- Maintain examination rooms daily
- Manage equipment and supply inventory
- Process, sterilize and organize instruments daily
- Help direct patients flow during practice ours
- Knowledge of medical office management system and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified as a Medical Assistant
- Display a high energy level, positive attitude
- Previous experience in healthcare administration
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures
