Position:
GENERAL CLEANER – Atlanta International Airport
JOB SUMMARY:
- Cleans public-use facilities inside Airport Terminal and concourses.
- Tasks include but are not limited to dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, grooming, trash removal, cleaning, and sanitizing areas that include but are not limited to bathrooms, common areas, escalators, elevators, and stairwells, furniture, windows, sidewalks, wall, flat and floor surfaces. Assembles and uses necessary equipment and supplies.
- This includes but not limited to hand tools, motorized equipment, chemical and cleaning utensils to address specific work assignments.
- Aid guests that may have questions or concerns. Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned by Janitorial Operations Supervisor and Janitorial Operations Manager.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Perform all cleaning and routine maintenance duties for all facilities (restrooms/nursery room/family restroom/offices/inside-outside grounds).
- Cleaning duties include sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash, windows cleaning and moving furniture and equipment and etc.
- Opens and locks facilities during business hours and monitors buildings against vandalism and theft.
- Responsible for completing daily task.
- Ensure efficiency of teamwork and adjust as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with the same field is an advantage but not necessary.
- Hardworking and flexible.
- Must be able to work 2nd shift. (2:00PM to 10:30PM)
- Amenable to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Multi-tasker.
- Able to work at an airport and must pass State and Federal security background check and drug test.

RESUMEN DE TRABAJO:
Limpia las instalaciones de uso público dentro de la terminal del aeropuerto y los vestíbulos. Reúne y utiliza el equipo y los suministros necesarios. Esto incluye, entre otros, herramientas manuales, equipo motorizado, utensilios químicos y de limpieza para abordar asignaciones laborales específicas. Ayude a los huéspedes que puedan tener preguntas o inquietudes. Realiza otras tareas de naturaleza y nivel similares a las asignadas por el Supervisor de operaciones de limpieza y el Gerente de operaciones de limpieza.
ALCANCE DE RESPONSABILIDAD:
- Realice todas las tareas de limpieza y mantenimiento de rutina para todas las instalaciones (baños / sala de guardería / baño familiar / oficinas / terrenos interiores y exteriores)
- Las tareas de limpieza incluyen barrer, trapear, pulir, basura, limpiar ventanas y mover muebles y equipos, etc.
- Abre y bloquea las instalaciones durante el horario comercial y supervisa los edificios contra el vandalismo y el robo.
- Responsable de completar la tarea diaria.
- Asegure la eficiencia del trabajo en equipo y haga los ajustes necesarios.
- Otras tareas que le asigne su supervisor.
REQUISITOS DE POSICIÓN:
