We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of programming experience and be familiar with various CNC machines and software. The ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret technical drawings and have a strong understanding of the machining process.
Responsibilities:
· Develop CNC programs using CAD/CAM software
· Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts to specification
· Perform tool changes and offsets to maintain quality and accuracy
· Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines
· Monitor production to ensure quality and efficiency
· Perform in-process inspections and document results
· Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
· Collaborate with team members to continuously improve processes and procedures
Requirements:
· At least 1 year of CNC programming experience
· Proficiency in CAD/CAM software
· Understanding of basic M code and G code functions
· Strong understanding of technical drawings and machining processes
· Ability to set up and operate CNC machines
· Knowledge of proper speeds and feeds for various types of material from aluminum to steel
· Identifying and selecting proper tooling for specific machining operations
· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
· Ability to perform in-process inspections and document results
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Experience with SolidCAM
