MaintenX International is a fully licensed, general contracting and state certified roofing company with a focus on total facility maintenance and repair. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Service Foreman to join our service team. As a Commercial Roofing Service Foreman, you will manage the completion of service requests for our commercial clients. At MaintenX, our customers rely on us to keep their business running, our service foremen are an integral part of ensuring that we meet and exceed this expectation. In this critical role, the Commercial Roofing Service Foreman will be trusted to use their experience and trade knowledge to make recommendations/judgment calls in the field, ensuring that the customer’s roofing problems are quickly, correctly and efficiently resolved.
Job Responsibilities:
Our Commercial Roofing Service Foreman are responsible for locating and repairing issues with roof systems, updating assigned work orders, communicating findings and recommendations to the Regional Service Team and providing documentation.

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Maintains customer relationships by providing a great experience and presenting a professional image in terms of both appearance as well as the finished product (repairs or installations).
  • Responsible for utilizing the company work order management system via mobile apps to maintain, manage, and complete assigned work orders.
  • Maintaining assigned crew vehicle in a clean, stocked and organized manner and communicates tool maintenance/replacement and stock needs in a timely manner.
  • Completing repairs according to MINIMUM established Roofing Repair Guidelines.
  • Completing repairs within all OSHA and MaintenX safety standards.
  • Responsible for supporting the Recommended Work Program (Employee Incentive Program) which is a key factor in the revenue and profitability of the service vehicle.
  • Drafts and submits recommended work via the work order management system to allow Service Team to deliver proposals in a timely fashion. This includes all details, measurements, supporting pictures, requested equipment, specialty details such as Tile or Metal panels, suggested material list, and labor needed to complete.
  • Follow customer procedures to ensure completion of work orders and billing completion utilizing IVR System Types when applicable
  • Responsible for investing in the continual training and development of team members
  • When necessary, additional duties may be assigned, and the company expects the Service Technician to exercise initiative to anticipate and prevent problems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates for the role of Commercial Roofing Service Foreman are highly motivated, skilled maintenance technicians who are able to solve problems on site. Our Commercial Roofing Service Foremen have vast knowledge and skills which go above and beyond in providing a high level of customer service to our customers.

Additional requirements of the Commercial Roofing Service Foreman include:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three to four years of experience with steep slope systems across all applications (Asphalt Shingles, Tile, and Metal)
  • Three to four years of experience in low slope commercial roofing across all applications (BUR, MODIFIED, TPO, PVC, EPDM, METAL, COATINGS, and METAL FLASHINGS)
  • Experience with using roofing specific tools and equipment; such as a handheld heat welder and open flame torch, etc.
  • OSHA 10, 30, Aerial Lift, Fall Protection, and CERTA active certifications
  • Technical training from manufacturers (Firestone, Carlisle, Johns Manville, etc.) is a plus
  • One or more years of experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment requiring heavy telephone, and e-mail interaction
  • Good communication skills both written and oral
  • Able to communicate in Spanish fluently is a plus
  • Ability to pass background, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Check
  • Strong experience with mobile work order systems and mobile computing skills via smart phone or tablet
  • Ability to work on-call and overtime hours as needed-we are a 24/7 maintenance facility

Compensation Base: $20-$25 hourly based on experience
