Communications and Marketing Associate
The Center for Progressive Reform seeks a Communications and Marketing Associate to help build on the success and impact of the organization. The Communications and Marketing Associate will support and promote the Center's work and policy goals on multiple digital media platforms through a lens of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. The associate will also assist our administrative, policy, and communications staff with online and in-person event planning, promotion, and logistics.
Reporting to the Senior Digital Media Manager, the Communications and Marketing Associate will be a key member of our communications team and will combine the ability to communicate messages across platforms with a commitment to the Center's mission and values to promote and achieve policies to advance climate, environmental, social, and worker justice and a more responsive, people-centered government. The associate will also work closely with our Communications Director, Senior Editor and Research Advisor, Communications Interns, and Operations and Finance Manager, and will collaborate with our policy staff and members of our nationwide scholar network.

Compensation and Benefits
This is a full-time staff position, complete with a benefits package. We offer a salary starting around $50,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
The Center contributes to the cost of health and dental insurance, including employee dependents. Premiums are deducted from employee paychecks on a pre-tax basis. Full-time employees may participate in a 401(k) retirement plan with automatic 2 percent contributions. We offer generous vacation, holiday, personal, parental, and sick leave.
Location and Travel
This is a fully-remote position but with a preference for applicants located in the Washington, DC, metro area. CPR operates in a virtual work environment with employees working from their home offices. Proven ability to work from home and collaborate with others remotely is strongly preferred.
This job will require occasional (<5%) local, regional, and national travel to meetings and company events.
Schedule
Employees work 40 hours per week, normally Monday through Friday, with flexibility to accommodate other life commitments. May spend extended periods at a computer. The candidate will need reasonable flexibility to accommodate schedules based on East Coast time zones.
