Full-Time Landscape Laborer

We have grown to become a recognized industry leader recognized in large mass seeding, erosion control, and landscaping projects; such as DOT, airports, landfills, solar farms, and other commercial related projects. NERC, Inc. is looking to hire motivated and talented individuals to our team. We are currently hiring for the following positions.

Landscape Laborer Job Responsibilities

• Operate farm type equipment, skid steers, and company trucks/vehicles/trailers
• Plant seeds, trees and/or other vegetation materials
• Install silt fence, mulch blanket, and other erosion control materials
• Stack straw bales, load and unload materials.
• Landscaping maintenance – Watering/Cultivating, weed whack, pull weeds, etc.
• Mow large commercial job sites
• Follow instructions of Supervisor(s) or Foreman(s) to complete jobsite tasks
• Perform basic equipment maintenance as necessary
• Follow safety rules and regulations. Required to have the proper PPE.
• Willing to listen, learn, and develop as a valuable team member while maintaining a positive attitude
• Always be Professional

Landscape Laborer Job Requirements

• Chauffeurs Drivers License
• Must be able to pass a DOT Drug screen and physical
• Ability to travel depending on project
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs or more
• Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
• Ability to work independently
• Must be able to work long hours and weekends (Monday - Saturday)
• Must be dedicated and hardworking
• Must be a team player w/strong interpersonal and verbal skills
• Must be able to follow verbal instructions
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must possess knowledge of equipment and workplace safety
• Must possess knowledge of securing equipment and materials on trailers
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
