Position Description:
Community Programs, Louisville/Elizabethtown-Cancer Control Specialist.
This position will coordinate cancer control initiatives of the Kentucky Cancer Program, the state mandated cancer control program established by the Kentucky General Assembly, and will be responsible for cancer control programs in Metro Louisville and surrounding counties in the Falls and Lincoln Trail Districts.� This individual will also support specially funded cancer control initiatives both in the district and statewide along with special projects assigned by the Director.� Activities include all components of cancer prevention and early detection programs; patient and family support services; continuing education and training programs for health care providers; and coalitions/partnerships to address cancer problems. �Responsibilities extend to the development of educational/communications materials along with the development and execution of traditional and social media campaigns.� Programs are developed in accordance with national, evidence based guidelines.

Target Compensation Maximum:
$72,826.00
Target Compensation Minimum:
$47,476.00
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
