Job Description


Pay range is $22.00 to $26.00 per hour

Purpose of Position:

To capture cost and performance data for Foster Farms' chicken pullet/breeder management. Track performance data and costs on a weekly basis. Period close responsibilities include preparation of journal entries and account analysis worksheets. Period end reporting includes cost center reporting (dollars), closed flock reporting (dollars & performance) pullet/breeder performance reports. Period reports are reviewed by the operations group and analyzed with clerk E assistance to explain variances. Prepare, provide and analyze Agristats information for Foster Farms' pullet/breeder operations. Assist with the preparation of pullet/breeder live operations budgets.

Essential job Functions:

Responsible for chicken pullet/breeder period close to include JE, AAW and reporting

Responsible for weekly pullet/breeder estimate and reporting

Prepare, provide and analyze chicken live Agristats reporting

Responsible for processing breeder contract grower settlements

Complete Ad hoc pullet, breeder analysis

Assist with the preparation of chicken pullet/breeder annual budgets.


Qualifications


High School graduate, some college accounting classes, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Three or more years of accounting experience with a demonstrated ability with data analysis.

Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Strong Computer Skills – SAP, Mtech, BW, Excel, Windows, Word, Outlook

Able to work independently and work with all levels of management. Must have a high degree of organization and prioritization skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills and be self-motivating, resourceful and a quick learner.
