Job Description

Conely Company, a Heritage Pool Supply Company is looking for a customer focused person to be our new Counter Sales Associate. As a Counter Sales Associate you will enter orders at the point of sale using the company computer system. Interact with customers over the phone, via email, and in-person. Work directly with Branch Managers/Inside Sales on developing and maintaining customer relationships. Utilize attention to detail and organization skills to manage and increase sales with a high number of accounts. Perform inside sales functions including sales calls, order processing, problem solving, CRM entries and other assigned duties. Maintain and grow existing customer relationships. Work with the respective Branch Manager to evaluate sales goals and increase revenue. Use organization skills and detail focus to manager customer accounts.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact with employees, customers, vendors, and contractors in a professional manner.
  • Must possess basic computer skills and a basic understanding of Microsoft Office Product.
  • Understanding of basic sales practices and strategies to engage and grow customers.

Education and Experience:

  • Experience with POOL products preferred, but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 2 years sales experience required.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) helpful but not required
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug test.
