Part Time Courier/ Driver

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, this position provides general delivery services between home location and neighboring healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Follows safe driving practices
  • Responds timely to issues
  • Collects mail and delivers to Post Office
  • Delivers office and medical supplies as needed
  • Drives patients (via facility's van) to nearby facilities as needed

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a current, active driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must have effective communication skills, both orally and written
  • Computer skills preferred (knowledge of Microsoft Office applications)
  • Must be able to speak and write in English
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs+
  • Must be able to pull, push, sustain exertion of 75 lbs+
