Vega Imaging Informatics is seeking a Data Analyst to provide outstanding imaging informatics services and solutions to healthcare organizations in the United States and worldwide.
Responsibilities:
Imaging Data Analytics
- Work with medical imaging data in the form of Excel Spreadsheets, DICOM objects, Scanned Documents, and other forms
- Perform QC procedures on medical images
- Perform data extractions and de-identification procedures
- Prepare patient and study information in client-facing spreadsheets
Business Development
- Develop the Vega Imaging Informatics services and solutions that drive the business
- Promote business offerings through social media platforms, over the phone and through other forms of communication
- Prepare proposals for clients based on Vega's set of service and technology solution offerings
- Create material that helps describe the services and solutions offered by Vega Imaging Informatics
- Stay educated and informed on industry trends and technology changes
- Collaborate with team members to promote growth initiatives
Imaging IT Support
- Provide support to medical imaging providers and administrative staff on IT and clinical applications
- Develop guides and support materials to help teach and guide users on proper workflows
- Document support activities and track time spent troubleshooting
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in a relevant field such as Healthcare, Computer Science, or IT; or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience
License/Certification/Registration Requirements:
CIIP Preferred
Experience:
Minimum five (5) years experience in a field related to imaging informatics.

- Advanced skill set in the knowledge-base areas for imaging informatics professionals, as defined by the American Board of Imaging Informatics:

Physical Demands:
- Daytime hours, Monday - Friday are required, however, weekend, night or holiday work may be needed for special occasions or emergencies
- Work is typically performed remote, however, occasional travel may be needed to perform on-site analysis, attend conferences, perform sales demonstrations, etc. Travel requirements are expected to be less than 15%
- There is potential for regular exposure to hazardous materials and hazards from use of tools and power equipment when working on-site at a healthcare organization
- The work atmosphere is fast-paced and highly demanding
- May require lifting, carrying supplies/equipment, pushing/pulling equipment in excess of 40 lbs
- May require standing stooping, bending and walking for prolonged periods of time
- Talking and hearing necessary for conversations with clients and team members
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
