Job Description

Duties Include:

• Troubleshooting a variety of computer hardware issues
• Support and maintain datacenter servers, hardware, and inventory
• Rack, stack, and cable servers and equipment in the datacenter
• Ethernet and Fiber cabling – we love clean cable management
• Maintain inventory and organization of the workshop, spare parts, incoming shipments, and recycling
• Respond quickly to network and monitoring alerts and escalate to appropriate on-call teams
• Assist our co-located customers, answer support tickets, and monitor for system and service outages
• Comfortable lifting 30-50lb equipment

Competitive Skills:

• A+ or Network+ Certifications (basic hardware/network troubleshooting skills [ping,traceroute,etc])
• Linux experience – basic linux command line/configuration
• Willingness to learn and grow – we love to support the datacenter techs in training/education so they can grow into systems engineering or network engineering roles
• Able to work without much supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
