Jardin Del Eden Daycare 2 is seeking a daycare assistant to join our team.

-CDA certified is a plus, is not a requirement but you will need to obtain it once your hired.

-You will be in meetings either online or in person in the south bronx.

-Need to be computer savy

-Must speak ENGLISH & SPANISH Fluently

We cater to infants beginning from 6weeks to 12 year old. We are open from 8am-6:00pm Monday to Thursday & Friday 8am-5pm. We are in the Soundview area of the Bronx.

Requirements:

• Love working with children
• 3 years experience working in a daycare or early childhood classroom
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have proficient computer skills
• Most be willing to be fingerprinted and have a background check performed
• Must be physically fit to keep up with the little ones
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Flexible schedule
• CPR/First aid is a plus
• Cda a plus
• Be responsible and creative

Responsibilities:

• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Communicate with parents and provide updates
• Assist children with potty training
• Interact positively, effectively, and appropriately with children at all times

We need someone who is reliable because as per NYC DEPT of Health we have to maintain the proper coverage. This position is ideally for someone who is in the area and would like part-time hours. If you're not flexible and cannot dedicate your time, this job is not for you.
