Degreed Mechanical Engineer needed for mechanical engineering consulting firm that provides high quality heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing and fire protection systems design for commercial, healthcare, residential, industrial and food service building construction.
Engineering Professionals, Inc. is seeking a new or experienced individual in design of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems. Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include paid time off, holidays, paid health insurance premiums, paid life insurance premiums, and 401(k) options.
Expectation is for candidate to grow into a Project Manager.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Designing HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems
Knowledge and experience of AutoCAD and Revit
Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design of mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems utilizing established engineering specifications and building codes
Creating construction documents using ACAD and/or REVIT
Completing projects within scheduled time
Coordinating with engineer and project manager
Communications of project status and progress to project managers and clients
Visiting construction sites to perform inspections for as-built information and conformance to project specifications
Ability to use a ladder
Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment in order to effectively handle the multiple tasks of the job
Occasional travel to out of county and/or state projects
