Advocacy-for-All is a non-for-profit that offers therapy counseling services within a natural learning environment community. They have a facility located in the Frankfort, Illinois Area. We are hiring for the position of Director of childcare services.
The Director of Advocacy-For-All directs the operations, budget development, curriculum, and teaching policy to ensure safety and compliance and foster an environment of therapeutic learning and development. The position serves as the key leadership contact to promote the objectives, mission, and goals of AFA.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Serve as the key leadership contact for the AFA board and internal and external stakeholders and promote effective communication in a professional work environment
· Ensure compliance with all state and federal therapeutic & early childhood regulations
· Exercise supervisory authority, including hiring, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, training, and onboarding
· Develop and audit the budget, process payroll, and manage all fiscal responsibilities
· Establish objectives to ensure appropriate use of financial, administrative, and staffing resources
· Identify opportunities to promote and market AFA
In order to qualify for the Director position, one must be Director qualified in the state of Illinois and have:
· Love for children and a desire to make a difference everyday
· Knowledge and experience applying regulations pertaining to early childhood education
· Proven record of outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, the ability to think critically, and manage multiple situations effectively
· Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Desired knowledge and experience with:
· Building relationships with families, staff, and stakeholders to create a dynamic therapeutic early childhood environment
· Creating budget and managing financial accountability
· Marking and outreach strategies to create and maintain relationships within a community
· Creating strategic plans in an early childhood therapeutic environment
· ALL job duties as assigned.
Salary will be dependent on qualifications and benefits include the following: flexible scheduling, discounted childcare, paid time off, education assistance and reimbursement.
