The Opportunity:

As a Director of Finance, you will be responsible for the vision and management of capital spending, cash flow and balance sheet, real estate analysis and projections, and general and administrative costs of the IT department. Reporting to the SVP of Finance, you will assist and engage business partners in strategic financial initiatives where necessary, including ROI analysis and cost savings. This position has 2 direct reports.


In addition, you will:

  • Provide leadership on capital spending across all aspects of the business including process flow/tracking, forecasting/reporting, ROI modeling, and communication of results. Oversee all components of the $280M capital budget.
  • Serve as the point person for Real Estate Financial Analysis in the organization including IRR/ROI analysis, proforma modeling, performance tracking, scenario analysis, and ad hoc analytics.
  • Oversee all components of $ budget/forecast for all opex / capex related to Information Technology, Actively pursuing new/innovative ways of improving business processes and value-added analysis. Monitor and review spending, identify trends/issues, and lead the resolution of problems.
  • Helps drive and maintain a thorough understanding of the strategies, priorities, and issues of supported areas
  • Support the preparation of Senior Management presentations and monthly/quarterly reporting.
  • Work effectively across the organization to research variances, understand trends, and incorporate new information into future forecasts.
  • Responsible for managing the team, developing direct reports, and maintaining a team culture

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of related business experience Retail industry preferred
  • Experience with real estate analysis is preferable
  • Advanced expertise with Excel applications (interactive Excel, macros) and experience with SAP and SAP Business Objects preferred
  • A dynamic, independent, creative, and highly motivated person who works well as a team member with non-financial personnel and executive-level personnel
  • Must demonstrate strong strategic, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience leading and developing teams required

The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000.00 - $193,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
