Job Title: Director of IT

Summary:
The Director of IT is part of the Senior Management Team and oversees all systems and networks to ensure high level security, efficiency and optimal workflow throughout the entire organization. The role works collaboratively with the President, other senior managers and all staff to ensure that the Company’s strategic goals are being met.
Essential Job Functions:
- Leads Operation Systems team to meet Company targets; responsibilities include recruiting, training and development of employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; making salary recommendations; addressing complaints and resolving issues
- Oversees the day-to-day Production Control operational systems and processes; plans, monitors, and analyzes key metrics to ensure efficient and timely completion of manufacturing and assembly production and systems management projects
- Leads development and implementation processes for Pioneer’s IT, network and operations systems
- Analyzes infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs; establishes efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT, network and operations infrastructure
- Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information; facilitates cybersecurity audits or investigations to ensure regulatory compliance; oversees all essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, all software and hardware
- Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers
- Performs server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
- Administers all customer portals
- Researches, purchases and implements new technology that supports company goals
- Develops strategic goals and metrics for production efficiency and output
- Develops and monitors department budgets
- Performs all other duties as needed at the direction of the President
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proactive, adaptable and self-disciplined
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10 years of experience in a senior leadership position
- 5 years experience in a production environment
- Technical knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching
- Experience in project management, application design and integration
- Strong understanding of rigid, flex and rigid-flex printed circuits and assemblies
- Superior knowledge of production, quality and employee management functions and principles
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective problem-solver
- High level of flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and priorities
- Strong working knowledge of business management software (e.g., SAP, ERP, CRM)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in related field
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
