Title: Director of Clinical Program Quality - 90% Remote

Relocation: Relocation Assistance Provided as Needed

How you will make a Difference:

As the Director of Clinical Program, you will lead the development, execution, and oversight of system-wide activities and outcomes in quality, patient safety, health outcomes, regulatory accreditation, and the service line quality management plan. You will oversee the service line services across the enterprise to adhere to best practices which enhance the care delivery and services through initiatives determined by outcome measuring, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the regional cancer service line quality management plan in Wisconsin and Illinois.
  • Supervises 8.0 FTEs direct reports.
  • Achieves exemplary top decile quality outcomes and value-based care by leading process improvement initiatives and implementing change management strategies.
  • Responsible for regional oversight of cancer regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness, including Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI), Commission on Cancer, National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers, Society for Thoracic Surgery (STS) STS public reporting, American College of Radiology reporting of lung cancer screenings across Wisconsin and Illinois.
  • Oversees publicly reported metrics, quality measures for disease- specific quality councils, OP-35 measures, CMS disparity measures, STS registry database for regional lung cancer surgery results, and physician compensation incentive measures for citizenship
  • Adopts evidenced-based national and regional standards, benchmarks, and tactics to enhance cancer quality outcomes. Disseminates quality measure performance data to all clinicians while guiding improvement efforts.
  • Directs community outreach efforts which support cancer control, awareness, and early detection with particular focus on at-risk communities for health inequities.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Education: Master's Degree (Health Care Administration, Public Health, Business, Nursing or similar field)

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • Active RN Licensure issued by (Governing Body):
  • State department of professional regulation/licensing board

Experience Required:

  • 10 years of management experiencein a healthcare and regulatory environment.
  • Extensive experience with quality, regulatory requirements, project management, and Continuous Quality Improvement principles.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Skilled presenter and communicator with expert oral and written communication skills suitable for multiple audiences, including executives, internal and external stakeholders, clinicians.
  • Proficient in change management.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and latest information regarding quality, clinical care delivery, operations, population health, regulatory compliance, value-based care, and others
  • Skills in critical thinking and solving operational processes to identify the challenges around local and organization-wide quality and regulatory compliance.
  • An understanding of health care delivery and health care dynamics within a large matrixed integrated health care system.
  • Experience with quality and performance improvement methodologies, principles (i.e. Lean), and associated processes and tools.
  • Extensive regulatory knowledge including external agency requirements with a skill in addressing local and systemic opportunities for improvement.

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
