We are one of the only dog trainers along the Wasatch Front who doesn't use aggressive training methods. We don't use vibration/shock, prong, or choke collars. We teach respect. We use calm and quiet leadership.

Job Requirements:

• Must have your own vehicle.
• Dependability is a MUST! If you cannot be reliable, please don't apply. We have zero tolerance for poor attendance.
• This position is part-time but could go full-time. We are looking for someone who is passionate and will share our passion for this company. We don’t want “job hoppers”. We are looking for longevity.
• Willing to work with all types of dogs.
• Candidate must be willing to follow instructions and must be a self-starter.

Daily Job Duties:

• Cleaning kennels as needed
• Feeding puppies and adult dogs
• Supervising play
• Training

The ideal apprentice has the following attributes:

During your first month, you will work a day shift while learning all you need to know. Your position will then move to afternoons/evenings from approximately 4pm – 9pm. This may change slightly so flexibility is important.

We are currently located in Magna but are in the process of expanding our business into a facility within the valley.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Evening shift
• On call
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Magna, UT 84044: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Dog training (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
