ERP Project Manager Position

Role Summary
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience selecting and/or implementing one or more ERP solutions and will have at least one full lifecycle experience. Candidate shall have demonstrated skills in process documentation, process improvement, project management, vendor management, conference room pilots, training, and cutover. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Recent and relevant experience transitioning from on- premise to cloud-based solution preferred.

The ideal candidate will either be based in the Indianapolis area or able to commit to 100% travel.

What you will do:

● Lead project oversight for ERP solution implementation to deliver services on time, within scope, and within budget including creating work products

● Coordinate task assignments that are in alignment with a vendor’s project plan
● Navigate and document decision making processes on behalf of our client within the project’s established governance structure
● Effectively identify areas of concern and new risks and issues, clearly communicate these areas to the team and actively work to mitigate and remedy these issues

● Ensure the application of best practices and industry standards to review and analyze all project plans

● Contribute to and/or draft status and project deliverable/artifact review reports
● Lead/participate in prospective client business development meetings, review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and assist with go/no-go decision-making, and development of proposals in response to RFPs in collaboration with the Chrysalis team

● Provide oversight for strategic ERP implementations and projects including assisting with creation of project plans and schedules, planning and managing resources, and communicating status and risks to stakeholders

● Surface options and scenarios for breaking down complex ERP systems and processes into tangible, composable ERP projects

● Analyze and challenge existing processes and assumptions to help define the best solutions to meet current and future business needs

● Reinforce and promote the usage of standard ERP functionality where possible
● Navigate challenging topics and changes with different stakeholders to gain alignment on key initiatives
● Assist with long range goals, annual plans, and manage project budgets appropriately

What you need to succeed:

● Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
● A minimum of 3 years experience as an ERP Project Manager
● Strong understanding of end-to-end order to cash lifecycle processes
● Experience planning upgrades and/or application implementations with cloud-based software
● Experience assessing comprehensive business requirements and surfacing alternative options with processes and systems
● Ability to work independently as well as to collaborate effectively with others in person and remotely
● Excellent communication skills with all levels. Proven ability to lead and communicate orally, in written documents, and in formal presentations is required
● Team player, change agent, and customer-driven mentality
● Analytical approach to problem-solving, solid conceptual skills and willingness to learn, sense of urgency and commitment for a job well done
● Strong work ethic, driven, results oriented
● Demonstrated ability to successfully prioritize and participate in multiple initiatives
