Job Description

Overview:

The Jordan Spa at Sunday River Resort is seeking a Maine Licensed Esthetician to offer exceptional service to our destination resort guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a person who is knowledgeable about skincare treatments, products, and techniques, as well as being comfortable working with clients of all ages and skin types.

Responsibilities:

Provide consistent and professional facials, body waxing, lash and brow tinting, makeup application, body treatments, and hand & foot treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
Utilize good body mechanics in order to provide services that are beneficial to the guests, while being healthy for the esthetician.
Consult with clients to determine their skincare needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
Ensure that treatment is timed properly so guests can be on time to other treatments.
Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized treatment room and workspace.
Possess the ability to work without direct supervision, maintain a positive attitude, and contribute towards a quality work environment.
Learn product offerings in order to make knowledgeable recommendations to clients.
Assist with guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously.

Qualifications:

Must be a Licensed Esthetician in the state of Maine
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
