Overview:
The Jordan Spa at Sunday River Resort is seeking a Maine Licensed Esthetician to offer exceptional service to our destination resort guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a person who is knowledgeable about skincare treatments, products, and techniques, as well as being comfortable working with clients of all ages and skin types.
Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent and professional facials, body waxing, lash and brow tinting, makeup application, body treatments, and hand & foot treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
- Utilize good body mechanics in order to provide services that are beneficial to the guests, while being healthy for the esthetician.
- Consult with clients to determine their skincare needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Ensure that treatment is timed properly so guests can be on time to other treatments.
- Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized treatment room and workspace.
- Possess the ability to work without direct supervision, maintain a positive attitude, and contribute towards a quality work environment.
- Learn product offerings in order to make knowledgeable recommendations to clients.
- Assist with guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Licensed Esthetician in the state of Maine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
