Executive Chef job at Greenridge Hospitality in Columbia, MD

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Develop menus, food purchase specifications and recipes
Supervise staff and fill in where needed when short staffed.
Develop and monitor food and labor budgets for the department.
Maintain highest professional food quality and sanitation standards.
Plan and execute all functions of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the back of the house operations such as but not limited to staff supervision, inventory controls, food/labor cost and product quality.
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures that relate to food and beverage, as well as local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Ensure safety of team members and cleanliness of facility and equipment
Direct monthly inventories
Keeping storerooms and refrigerator and freezer organized
Complies with company standards of operation procedures and ensures on a daily basis that all products are prepared and presented in accordance with our company standards.
Evaluate products to assure that quality, price and related goods are consistently met.
Establishes and maintains a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for all kitchen area and equipment.
Provides training and professional development opportunities for all kitchen staff.
Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times.
Performs other duties as directed.

Required:

Minimum 5 years experience required.

Salary base upon experience.
