About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Senior Manager to join the Chief Administrative Office (CAO) Business Management team.

This is a newly created position that will focus on the most pressing challenges facing the CAO business management organization, including designing and developing the operational metrics to measure the performance of the CAO; drafting critical executive level presentations, including business unit reviews; supporting the implementation and tracking of CAO strategic priorities and leading the CAO Early Talent program, including management oversight of program analysts and interns.

The role requires a strategic mindset; sense of urgency; ability to focus on the priorities and clarify what is most important from that which can be deferred; confidentiality; and excellent facilitation skills.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage and develop a team of Business Execution Consultants, Early Talent program analysts and summer interns.
  • Provide oversight and leadership of the CAO Early Talent program, inclusive of an 18-month rotational analyst program targeting recent university graduates and a 10-week internship program for rising juniors and seniors.
  • Develop executive level presentation materials for business unit reviews, extended leadership meetings, and other executive briefings.
  • Lead development of Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with the Chief Administrative Office Strategic Priorities and partner with the business management lead within each CAO function to actively manage performance against defined targets.
  • Partners with senior leaders across CAO to refine the business strategy and create/execute corresponding business plans and initiatives.
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for the CAO Business Management team
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 6+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to lead, present, and obtain buy in from large stakeholder groups spanning staff through senior and executive management
  • Ability to translate strategic initiatives into executable programs, including: defining the problem statement and articulating the scope of the solution, identifying impacted areas and components, identifying resource requirements, gathering estimates, defining timelines and packaging information for presentation to executive leadership
  • Facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting priorities
  • Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications
  • Influential leadership, ability to lead and manage teams without direct authority
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills
  • Experience developing and monitoring OKRs, KPIs and operational metrics
  • Strategy and business case development, including obtaining executive approval on projects
  • Ability to be neutral/independent while providing strong credible challenges where necessary
  • Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the financial services industry
  • Ability to take on a high-level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Management consulting experience at a top-tier consulting firm
  • Self-starter, with a proven ability to think both strategically and tactically, diagnose opportunities and implement operationally often in ambiguous environments

  • NY - New York City: Min $138,500 Max $287,600
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
