Accounting File Clerk

We are seeking an Accounting File Clerk to assist a nonprofit charity organization that assists refugees. With check requests, vouchers, and statements. The File Clerk is a multifaceted role and is highly responsible for protecting client data and file organization. The file clerk will use the existing file system organization to maintain records effectively.

What You Will Do:
- Verify receipts, invoices and check requests
- Create vouchers reimbursement and submit supporting documentation
- Collect checks and vouchers, verify check numbers, payments and disburse checks and reconcile the statement
- Collect vouchers, review, make copies and submit information online .
- Compile data and prepare a variety of reports (monthly vouchers report, FROST credit report, rent and utility expenses report etc.)
- and reconcile.
What You Will Need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year of clerical experience including filing and retrieving documents
- Strong and accurate data entry and working knowledge of MS Office, Word, and Excel
- Demonstrates organizational and planning skills while dealing with a variety of people
- Demonstrates success in dealing with a variety of people and backgrounds
