The Floor Technician Performs the day-to-day activities of buffing, waxing, carpet cleaning, and other cleaning tasks in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to assure that the facilities are maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner. The ideal candidate will be flexible, responsible, highly motivated, and able to multitask.

Essential Functions:

• Stripping, Waxing, and Buffing for office buildings, laboratories, and/or related areas
• Auto scrubbing floors
• Use of high-performance machinery.
• Extract carpet
• Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily
• Spot carpets
• Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to
• Operate and maintain all equipment correctly

Skills & Experience

• No experience is necessary. We are willing to train the right individual, but they must be detail orientated and possess the willingness to learn new concepts, and demonstrate the ability to perform highly detailed work.
• Good hygiene skills are required.
• Open availability: Overtime work and schedule adjustments may be needed/necessary. Holiday work may also be required.
• Applicants must provide proof of work authorization and complete an I9 and E-Verify process.

Physical Requirements:

• Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs., and carry 12 lbs. backpack vacuum, as needed.
