Praetas Technologies is looking for an energized, committed, experienced and trustworthy Front Desk Retail IT Support Tech to join our staff and assist with Front Desk PC Intake, remote support, and in-office operations of our commercial and residential customers.

We are looking to hire a well-rounded IT Support Tech who has experience in a multitude of environments, specifically in a retail environment, such as Best Buy's Geek Squad, or Office Depot and Staples' Tech Services. You should be comfortable talking with customers in-person and over the phone, and should be comfortable explaining technical information to untechnical people.
Applicant is expected to handle in-shop service and remote support. You must be self-motivated, self-sufficient, and EXPERIENCED, as well as work well with a team.
You must be good at communicating (including by phone and email), have the ability to schedule yourself for appointments, and follow-up when necessary.
You must be up-to-date on modern technology, including PC/Mac hardware (SSDs, RAM, GPUs, etc.), as well as their operating systems and settings.
You should consider yourself a people person who is sociable and friendly, and who is able to communicate technical information to non-technical people. You will be working one on one with customers in-person and remotely, and will be expected to communicate with professional standards.
We prefer applicant have least their A+ Certification, but this can be obtained within 90-days after hire, and additional certifications are encouraged. We expect applicants for this position have the ability to:
