ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Fryer Feeder

Keep frank hopper and belts full at all times

Keep stick hopper full

Rotate sticks as needed

Watch batter level - Communicate problems

Home the corndog machine as needed

Keep track of times you shut the machine off/on

Monitor how the machine is running

Batter Maker

Communicate adjustments needed with Lead/Machine Attendant

Monitor batter for correct consistency and smoothness

Adjust batter as needed (weights and/or b-grades)

Monitor frank and corndog weights and cookout

Remove outer layer of batter bags before transporting to mixing room

Keep the batter dip tank and fryer free of batter and sticks remnants

Wash rework franks before breaks, end of shift as necessary

Other duties as assigned

Must be able to work as an effective team member

Must be able to work in a cold and wet environment

Must be able to stand for entire shift

Must be able to work consistently at a fast pace

Must be able to kneel, bend and stoop

Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Must be able to communicate in English which includes reading and writing

Must be able to drive a palletjack and have/or obtain a Foster Farms Safety License
