Role Summary/Purpose
By becoming a member of GE Vernova’s Communications team, you will help build the story and engagement around a significant and public company transformation. You’ll work closely with teams from across the world to demonstrate GE Vernova’s progress, performance, and path to growth in a dynamic environment.
The GE Vernova Foundation Lead will be responsible for leading GE Vernova’s Foundation, ensuring deep long-term alignment with business purpose and brand mission. The role will partner with the Public Affairs Leader to lead GE Vernova’s overall corporate philanthropy strategy to further the mission of transforming the world …. through the communities where we live and work.
Essential Responsibilities
Serve as the internal/external face of GE Vernova’s Foundation, including industry networking and collaboration providing programmatic updates to the board
Responsible for all aspects of grant management, including program design, partner vetting, implementation and execution
Build ongoing relationship-building with stakeholders, ensure KPIs are defined, measured & reported and provide budget oversight and management
Manage employee programs such as Matching Gifts, GE Vernova Volunteers etc.; manage program execution and budget, report actions & metrics and serve as liaison between businesses/sites and HQ for targeted programs
Lead HQ and business specific direct giving programs such as grants and corporate partnerships, and act as a liaison for site specific initiatives such as scholarships, sponsorships, community programs
Lead communication strategy for GEVF internally & externally; collaborate with grant partners to amplify effort and impact
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
or equivalent knowledge or experience
Significant experience in communications with specific experience in public affairs or external communications
Desired Characteristics
Energy industry experience is a plus, and experience in government/ political campaign experience, corporate communications, or public relations preferred
Demonstrated experience acting as a trusted advisor to senior level executives
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience building relationships with colleagues and with external stakeholders at all levels
Ability to simplify strategy into specific actions with clear accountability, making decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information, and communicating priorities clearly and concisely
Ability to absorb, digest and distill highly technical subject matter into clear and concise content
Strong project management skills and proven track record of accomplishments
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

The salary range for this position is 136,800.00 - 228,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a 15% variable incentive bonus.
