Graphic Designer & Video Editor

Terrapin Ridge Farms, a leading specialty food marketer, developer and distributor has created the position of Graphic Designer to help achieve our high growth goals.

This position is part of the marketing team and will communicate and promote Terrapin Ridge Farms brand through compelling graphic design and strategic multi-channel marketing to drive Retail, Wholesale and Foodservice demand. Facilitates marketing campaigns from start to finish. Works towards achieving quarterly and yearly goals for department and company.

Objectives of this Role

· Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various computer software to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals.

· Perform video editing tasks such as, but not limited to, adding graphics, special effects, and animations to edits, as well as creating stories with existing videos.

· Combine graphic design skills with marketing knowledge

· Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques.

· Digitize, edit, and color correct footage using Adobe Premiere Pro adding motion graphics and effects in Adobe After Effects.

· Edit and repurpose videos and images in our library into posts for marketing needs according to current strategy

· Write initial copy for and schedule the posts to publish on social channels (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Tik Tok) using scheduling platform of choice meeting minimum cadence requirement of 3 posts a week

· Take and edit videos of/with recipes, office life, in-store sightings, trending concepts, etc for social and website use

· Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communication, newsletters, and marketing materials.

· Obtain input from management, ensuring designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately

· Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with marketing team, meeting deadlines and budget constraints, and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which will include many simultaneous projects.

· Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

· 3+ years in professional graphic design and video editing, preferably with a creative or marketing agency.

· Proven experience with graphic design & video editing, with a strong portfolio of work.

· Foodie or Food Lover is a MUST, Food Editing experience is preferred.

· Expert working knowledge of Photoshop, layers, masks, paths, color correction tools, etc.

· Expert working in Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.

· Adobe Illustrator and Media Encoder knowledge is a plus.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to follow creative direction from senior team members & build upon creative ideas when needed.

· Meticulous attention to detail.

· Knowledge of key influencers in the food and CPG space is a plus

· Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms, shopify websites, and email campaign Up to date with digital marketing trends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 per year
