Local CDL Flatbed Delivery Driver

Full-Time, 6 days per week (Mon-Sat) Supplemental Pay: Potential Tips
Veritas Inc. is currently seeking Class A CDL drivers to run local last mile flatbed/moffett deliveries. We provide last mile delivery solutions for several different online retailers, as well as brick and mortar stores across the United States.
This is a permanent local position delivering end customers product using a moffett. Freight is palletized and shrink-wrapped. Client will load trailer during load out, driver will be responsible for offloading product at a customer’s home or onloading any potential returns. This is a six day per week operation, Monday thru Saturday. NO ROUTES ON SUNDAY
Drivers are home daily
Job Requirements as follows:
- At least 1 year of Commercial Driving Experience
- At least 6 months Moffett or Forklift Experience
- Able to Pass Background, MVR and pre-employment Drug Testing
- Monday – Saturday work week (6 days)
- 07:00am start time each morning
- “Can do” customer attitude and willingness to learn
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Ability to WOW each customer and provide a great customer experience
-Ensure all merchandise is clean and in operating condition prior to load out
-Secure and protect product ON delivery vehicle
-Review product information to ensure it matches delivery schedule
-Must use Handheld App and maintain routing compliance
-Perform routine service calls, product exchanges and assist with merchandise returns
-Wear client approved attire and maintain professional appearance
Minimum Qualifications
Valid Commercial Class A or B License. Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction) Minimum 21 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
1 Year Commercial Flatbed Experience: Loading, Unloading and Tarping
6 Months Moffett or Forklift Experience: Loading & Unload
6 Months Experience in-home delivery experience or retail customer-facing experience
