DAY-TO-DAY
This full-time office position with our human services nonprofit works during the day.
As a Human Resources Assistant - Data Entry Specialist with our nonprofit, you're responsible for performing various clerical, data entry, and human resources-related tasks. In a timely manner, you accurately set up new hire records in our HR systems and process employee data changes, including department, supervisor, and pay rate changes. You collaborate with our payroll team to review and audit employee data changes, new hire entries, and other information sources. Using your keen eye for detail, you confirm all data entered into our HRIS for accuracy and ensure this information is available to the payroll department in a timely manner.
In addition, you use our report writing tool to prepare ad-hoc, monthly, and quarterly management reports as well as assist in completing various external surveys. You also maintain user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. As needed, you train staff on new processes or systems. Our HR department runs smoothly with you as part of the team, and you take great pride in knowing you thrive in this clerical office position!
