We are looking for an HR Coordinator to come be part of a winning team at one of the world's most respected Automotive Dealerships, Galpin Motors, Inc.! The HR Coordinator will provide administrative support to the HR Department and will be the first person to welcome visitors and employees to the HR Department. Responsibilities include fielding phone calls, onboarding new employees, welcoming visitors and employees, filing, data entry, and department projects. This position directly impacts the overall efficiency of the HR Department and ensures that all necessary administrative procedures are followed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Answer all calls coming into the HR Department; Assist employees as necessary or forward call to appropriate party
Greet employees and guests as they enter the lobby area
Listen to messages left on main HR line daily and forward to correct party
EMPLOYEE ONBOARDING:
Prepare background check disclosure forms and assist applicants when the arrive to sign their offer letter
Monitor new hire spreadsheet; make reminder calls to new hires, order name badges prior to employee’s arrival
Prepare new employee welcome packets and have ready for each new hire session
Facilitate new hire onboarding sessions including: Paycom Orientation, paperwork, data entry, and creating parking passes and security badges
FILING:
Create new employee file and jacket documentation
File necessary paperwork in employee files
Consolidate terminated employee files; ensure termination checklist is completed for each terminated employee
DEPARTMENT ASSISTANCE:
Keep Department supplies stocked and organized
Assist with general correspondence as needed
Code and process department invoices
Maintain COVID intake spreadsheet; call new COVID19 cases and follow up with manager
ONGOING MAINTENANCE:
Audit and maintain KSR signed acknowledgements
Assist with Health insurance wellness program
other projects as assigned
