Positive Promotions manufactures and distributes world class promotional products and sells both retail and wholesale to other nationwide distributors.

Job Function:

The Human Resources Generalist supports the Human Resources Management Team with Full Cycle Recruiting, Benefits administration, and Employee Relations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Handle the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department as directed.

· Lead high volume full cycle recruitment initiatives for both office and light industrial personnel.

· Heavy employee relations and communications— verbal and written

· Leave Administration (Workers’ Compensation, Disability, FMLA, PFL)

· Provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Management Team.

· Create, maintain and update all employee files.

· Complete employment verifications, job letters and other documents as needed.

· Administer all Union Medical and Benefit enrollments

· Properly handle Union complaints and grievances.

· Manage the on-boarding process of all new employees.

· Process E-Verify, Background checks and Drug screens as needed.

· Conduct new hire orientation.

· Manage the Human Resources lobby.

· Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· 2- 5 years of experience in Human Resources, High Volume Recruitment-Light Industrial/Office, Benefits, and Union employee relations.

· PHR Certification a plus.

· Ability to prioritize work.

· Must be detail orientated, self-sufficient, well organized, and possess exceptional work ethic to meet deadlines.

· Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Paychex Flex, ATS

· Must read, write and speak Spanish fluently

· Understands the need for confidentiality.

· Able to cope with pressures and interruptions.

· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced high volume environment

· Excellent follow-up and customer service skills

· At least 2 years of College required.

Hours 9am – 5:30pm, Mon-Fri (must be flexible)
