Reports To: Assistant Manager, Manager

General Responsibilities:

∙ Communicate effectively with Shift Leaders, Managers and Truck Operators on key issues, including equipment and operational needs.

∙ Able to lead by example in all areas of service expectations including dress code, attendance policy and maintaining a professional presence and demeanor.

∙ Help create a positive work atmosphere for all team members

∙ Successfully complete assigned opening, mid-shift and closing duties/checklists

∙ Assist in maintaining the Happy Ice environment and ambiance by reporting temperature, music, lighting, maintenance, cleanliness and/or other issues to Management

∙ Maintain all Happy Ice standards, policies and procedures

∙ Support management and ownership initiatives including roll-out of new and seasonal offerings and policy changes as they may occur from time to time

∙ Must wash hands constantly and adhere to all sanitation rules and regulations

∙ Keep management apprised of any potential problems in store or the field; including harassment of our customers by disruptive persons, or any harassment of any kind

∙ Must love what you do, producing Happy Ice and making people Happy!!!

Production Responsibilities:

· Meet quotas for production of all products.

· Maintain food safety standards.

∙ Follow, update and track all inventories includes flavors, concentrates, ingredients and supplies ∙ Strictly follow all labeling and batch/ lot guidelines and food safety protocols

∙ Place orders for all inventory items as needed to maintain production schedules without interruption ∙ Be able to explain and articulate the ingredients of all flavors and other products

∙ Maintain all the production equipment in clean and safe operating order

∙ Follow all opening and closing procedures to ensure the production room is clean and sanitary at all times ∙ To the extent possible limit access to the production room to Happy Ice employees. ∙ Keep production freezer clean and organized at all times

∙ Stock and restock trucks, stores and events as needed and directed

∙ Produce all products and goods to the standards and specifications of Happy Ice

∙ Follow all Happy Ice formulations and accurately weigh/ measure all ingredients in formulations ∙ Adhere to First-In-First-Out (FIFO) standards; and always rotate stock of flavors and supplies ∙ Sweep and mop as needed or requested

∙ Ensure filled sanitizer buckets and three-compartment sinks are stocked in all stations with clean towels and water is changed every two hours or when dirty

∙ Remove all trash from production room

∙ Load and unload delivery trucks

∙ Transport empty buckets back to production room

∙ Assist in cleaning and sanitizing all buckets between production runs

∙ Maintain an adequate number of buckets to cover production and inventory

∙ Assist with other projects and assignments as needed

Requirements and Preferences

  • Passionate about the hospitality industry
  • 21+ years of age or older.
  • Must be able to obtain a Food safety certification (Can get after being hired)
  • Computer literacy.
  • Great Attendance Record
  • Team player.
  • Speaks fluent English.
  • Ability to stand for multiple hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. if needed.
