We are seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer with expertise in 3D web technologies to join our dynamic team in a hybrid position based in Chicago. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating visually stunning and highly functional digital experiences that drive user engagement and business growth. This position requires the candidate to be in the office three days a week, allowing for a balance of in-person collaboration and remote work flexibility.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality web applications based on project requirements and specifications

• Build 2D and 3D interactive web, mobile, and installation content using WebGL and Javascript
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using React, Vue.js, Node.js, Express, and other relevant technologies
• Create materials and effects using GLSL and Shaders.
• Implement experiences using cloud services such as Firebase, Heroku, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and usability
• Integrate with Content Management Systems
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
• Ensure consistent adherence to coding standards and documentation requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Web Developer, with a focus on frontend frameworks and libraries (React, Vue.js) and backend technologies (Node.js, Express)
• Strong understanding of web development best practices, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility
• In-depth expertise in at least one of the following WebGL frameworks, platforms, or libraries: Three.js, React Three Fiber, PlayCanvas, or A-Frame.
• Experience with Content Management Systems (WordPress, Contentful) and cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• A strong portfolio showcasing relevant web development projects
