Job Description
Responsibilities:
The IT Director is responsible for all information technology and communications functions for our corporate business systems. This includes the 24x7x365 support of all production systems, applications, and request fulfillment. Manager is responsible for ensuring efficient IT processes are maintained and followed to meet business objectives. This is a working IT Director position for proficiency in all the related job requirements is mandatory.
This position will the support and operations of all Back office Business systems for the next two years, while we transform the companies financial systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all application servers, enterprise applications, domain/user maintenance, networking components, telecommunications infrastructure, proprietary and nonproprietary applications and desktop support
- Monitoring of all equipment 24x7x365 as well as incident response management responsibilities should any issues arise.
- Serve as the primary liaison to the corporate stakeholders and IT vendors, including after-hours, weekend, and remote.
- Ability to continuously improve service delivery through identification and implementation of company and industry best practices and collaboration with other IT Operations personnel.
- Interface directly with corporate IT support to ensure full compliance with all MV policies and procedures.
- Produce all operating policies and procedures and hold overall team directly accountable for adhering to them.
- Accountable to meet or exceed performance metrics (KPIs) for IT Operations and Infrastructure
- Troubleshoot complex systems issues and work with third party resources as required
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects, manage time, and work with other staff members, as well as departments on critical projects
- Soft skills: excellent problem solving, communication, sense of urgency, and possess great customer service skills
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Requirements/Experience:
- This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or relevant experience
- Strong leadership skills to lead a team
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Adept at performing a variety of high priority tasks at the same time
- Five (5)+ years of relevant experience at an Enterprise level is preferred
- Experience supporting and transforming financial systems
