Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Production/Inventory Coordinator to join their team in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc.
  • Monitors and analyzes work in process.
  • Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems.
  • Identifies and reports complex problems and recommendations to insure parts availability.
  • Analyzes complex problems.
  • Resolves or reconciles complex discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy.
  • Coordinates with various functions to resolve complex or competing priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
  • Works under minimal supervision.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at JB Lewis-McChord, WA.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 3 years of Procurement experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, PowerPoint)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience handling Hazardous Materials
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with tool/parts/material shipping and receiving
  • Minimum 3 years of experience interacting directly with external customers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Familiar with C-17 related tooling
  • Familiar with general aircraft hand tooling
  • Familiar with Boeing/USAF tool control procedures
  • Familiar with inventory control
  • Familiar with Cribmaster program
  • Ability to network with customers and vendors
  • Ability to participate with tooling related investigations
  • Attention to detail on tooling issues and concerns

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 7 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+5 years of related work, Bachelor+2 years of related work, etc.).

Summary pay range: $50,150 - $67,850
