The applicant may primarily work from home and be remote. Flexible hours. However, occasional close travel may be required for purposes of filing or serving. Occasional time in the office may be necessary for purpose of helping with trial preparation (such as copying). This firm has two locations. One in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, and one in North Ridgeville, Ohio. Main duties include scheduling meetings with clients, court dates, managing the attorney's calendar, making and receiving phone calls, drafting letters, mailing, filing, errands, ordering, and minor drafting. The preferable candidate would have some legal experience, but willing to train.
Preferable candiate would also have legal researching skills and ability to draft memos, briefs, complaints, and have an interest in family law. Open to consideration for paid internships or externships for law students.
Pay rate is negotiable depending on qualifications of candidate.
