Job Description
Overview:
ZeniMax Media Inc., which includes Bethesda Softworks, a leading global publisher and developer in the video game industry and has an opening for a Legal Assistant to provide administrative support to the Legal Team. Specifically, maintain the filing system, monitoring records/contract process as required, and other duties as assigned. This position is onsite at our Rockville HQ.
The ideal candidate would have previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, great organization and time management skills and a game enthusiast.
Responsibilities:
Establishing and maintaining records management and contract deliverable tracking systems and software.
- Managing documents in and out for execution
- Monitoring contract-related activities and manage ongoing changes to contract requirements.
- Maintain the lease calendar and alerts for renewals
- Liaising with other departments, including Finance/Accounting for Procurement and Payments
- Administration support for the Legal Team
- Administrative duties such as copying, scanning and filing documents
- Create and maintain various binders
- Update and maintain digital filing system
- Other adhoc duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of administrative support experience in a legal department
- Experience working in a legal environment
- High level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Docusign and Adobe
- Ability to manage a variety of administrative tasks as needed
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- High quality of professionalism
