We are looking for an experienced Line Chef to join our company. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, committed to high standards of excellence in the practice of their craft, and is a team player. The successful candidate will work closely with our team in preparing food and plate presentation along with following kitchen procedures and food safety codes. JOB DESCRIPTION:

Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies. Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing. Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, baking in wood-fired oven and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards. Manages time to execute plate presentations to customers in a timely and precise fashion.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cooperate in creating menu items and specials.
• Familiarize and preform all steps to setting up work stations.
• Keep work stations fully stocked.
• Make food preparations according to company standards.
• Plate food items timely and accordingly.
• Follow careful plate presentation instructions.
• Observe operation procedures.
• Assist with special events and catering.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe working environment.
• Uphold a positive attitude towards all staff members
• Act in accordance with company policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
