Stratas Foods LLC is the leading supplier of fats and oils to the Foodservice, Food Ingredients and Retail Private Label markets in North America and is a producer of quality bulk and packaged dressings, mayonnaise and sauces. Stratas Foods was formed in October 2008 as a 50/50 joint venture between ACH Food Companies (ACH) and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM).

Manufacturing facilities are located in Dallas and Houston, TX; Decatur and Quincy, IL; Englewood, NJ; Fresno, CA; Nashville, TN; and Valdosta, GA. Corporate offices are located in Memphis, TN. This position is reserved for employees that are dedicated to step up from an entry level position on the manufacturing floor. Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required.

The tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operate a motorized fork lift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

• Keep lines stocked with packaging materials

• Fill out appropriate paper related to the lines CCP’s, production, packaging materials

• Basic troubleshooting and repair of packaging equipment

• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment on the line

• Communicate with supervisor when line is down due to equipment/oil supply issues

• Communicate with supervisor when equipment needs attention

• Report/resolve any observed quality issues while operating line

• Proper start up, running and shut down of line

• Basic Ammonia Operation

• Knowledge of process flow and ability to trace flow from source tank to filling process

• Basic Votator/Perfector operation

• Basic understanding of pumps, valves, filters, and heat exchangers

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Related Experience: Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Equipment/Software Skills: Basic computer knowledge - data entry

Physical: Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights

Sensory: Good Sight & Hearing

Mental/Reasoning: Attention to Detail
